Double racking system has different components to improve the system's safety. For example:
Pallet Backstop:There is always a risk of heavy loads falling from the racks. To stop this from
happening, you use single or double pallet backstops.
Racking Protectors:Usually, there are two types of protectors found in this racking.
Side Protectors:C-shaped protectors are placed outside the frame and over the corners.
Upright Protectors:Attached outside your double deep rack uprights to secure the storage
from forklift damage and accidents.
Note: It is also wise to add warning signs on the frames or beams after installing a double-deep
pallet racking.

Frames and Uprights: Frames have great importance among all the parts of double deep
racks. They consist of a few more essential components, including such as two upright pieces
and cross bracing. OKE Storage offers various galvanized frames to ensure damage resistance
and durability even after painting the structure.
Beams: Beams are the horizontal structure of a double racking. They play a key role in joining
the frames and supporting unit weight.
 

Depending on your inventory load, this racking type may include the following beam types:
* Box beam with powder coating
* Galvanized box beam

Panels: The deep racking system is designed with two different kinds of panels. The metal
mesh panel supports the weight of the goods placed on the racks. The chipboard panels can
be placed on the racking's beams to hold the inventory firmly.
Baseplate: It usually has welded baseplates connected to each upright to store and distribute
heavy loads.
Shims: An accessory of double deep selective racking beneath the baseplate to erect the
system confidently above uneven flooring.
Container Support: If you deal in container-legged stock, it becomes essential for you to install
container support. They come with two cross-support pairs attached to the beams of deep
racking for placing containers.
