Steel mezzanines play a key role in ensuring your workers' safety, and their correct installation can
prevent numerous mishaps,such as accidental falls. OKE Storage pays close attention to
manufacturing structures that are safe for your workforce.
To comprehensively ensure the safety and stability of our steel platform systems and to provide
you with confidence and convenience when using our shelving, we have deliberately incorporated
the following safety accessories into the shelving design:

Flooring: Hole Patterns: Available in Type II elongated holes and circular holes. Hole design
complies with fire safety requirements of all countries.

Upright Spacing: The distance between two upright is generally 3-5m, not more than 6m, to
ensure the overall stability and load-bearing capacity.

Lifting Port: The periphery is equipped with a thickened back net design, to ensure the safety
of the operator and prevent the goods from falling.

Crossbar: Thickened 5# angle steel is used to increase the torsion of the steel platform upright
and the stability of the steel platform.
Swing Gate: When one end of the gate is raised, the other end is lowered, creating a guardrail.
Open only to forklift trucks, the unique design ensures that when forklift trucks are accessing
goods, they can effectively prevent people or goods from falling off the platform.
Loading Port: Install Double doors, facilitate forklift loading and unloading, reducing the risk
of operators falling from the platform.

Anti-rust And Anti-corrosion Paint: all steel surfaces are sprayed with anti-rust topcoat,
prevent rust and corrosion of the steel platform by accumulated water and moisture.

Staircase: reinforced and thickened non-slip patterned treads, equipped with raised handrails
on both sides. Avoid operators slipping or stepping on the air, so that you have a safe use of
the process!

Guardrails: three thickened guardrails (1.5mm) on each side to ensure staff safety.

Edge Seals: set at the bottom of the floor and guardrail, prevent goods from rolling off the floor.

Mezzanine rack consists of the following components:

 

 

Upright: The Upright primarily functions to provide support and bear loads, and is made of
high-quality Q235 cold-rolled steel,formed through bending and punching. It can support a
load of up to 1000kg per square meter.
Beam: High-quality cold-rolled steel is used to connect the columns and create space for
storing goods. The height of the beams can be adjusted accordingly, based on the hole
distances on the columns, which are typically set at 50mm or 75mm.
Flooring: Strong load-bearing checkered steel plates or perforated plates are used to connect
two bays of the shelving,providing walkways for manual access to goods.
Shelf Board: Made from high-quality Q235 steel, these are installed on the beams of the
shelving to support goods. Each shelf can bear a maximum load of 500kg.
Back Net: Typically installed at the rear of the upper shelving to prevent goods from falling
and reduce the risk of personnel being struck by falling items.
Guardrail: Installed around the perimeter of the upper shelving, with three guardrails on each
side, significantly enhancing the safety of personnel.
Staircase: Comprising of step boards and handrails, it is bolted securely onto the floor panel,
facilitating the movement of personnel up and down the Steel mezzanines.
Unloading Port: Usually positioned at the guardrail locations, facilitating the access of forklifts
to heavy goods.
