Double racking system has different components to improve the system's safety. For example:
Pallet Backstop:There is always a risk of heavy loads falling from the racks. To stop this from
happening, you use single or double pallet backstops.
Racking Protectors:Usually, there are two types of protectors found in this racking.
Side Protectors:C-shaped protectors are placed outside the frame and over the corners.
Upright Protectors:Attached outside your double deep rack uprights to secure the storage
from forklift damage and accidents.
Note: It is also wise to add warning signs on the frames or beams after installing a double-deep
pallet racking.
